	Sept 18	Guthrie, OK	Flashbacks Car Club of Guthrie Car Show The Flashbacks Car Club of Guthrie Oklahoma invites you to attend our annual car show, Saturday, September 18th at Mineral Wells Park; just south of Downtown Guthrie on Division Street (check out the attached flyer). On Friday evening, September 17th, beginning at 7:00 pm, we are having a preregistration at the Park Pavillion, and then we will have a cruise through town and other places as yet unknown. Be sure and bring your (street legal) ride for the cruise. Preregistrants will be able to take advantage of the $15.00 preregistration entry fee; we will also have a drawing for some door prizes. We have added an additonal class; 1955-57 Chevrolet Modified. If you are unable to attend Friday, we will have our normal registration on Saturday. Hope you can join us for the fun. r	Sept 26	Wichita, KS	Wichita PD FOP hosts 16th Annual Show-N- Shine Car Show Wild rides and old rides once again will be the focus of the 16th annual Show-N-Shine Car Show. The event will take place on Sunday, September 26th, from noon until 4 p.m. in the parking lot at Wichita State University located at 21st and Hillside in Wichita, KS. Once again there will be specialty vehicles from various law enforcement agencies and the military. There will also be free child identification through the Wichita Police Department Child Identification System. The show is free to the public, and anyone who would like to enter a vehicle in the show may do so for a $10 registration fee. There will be a number of trophies awarded to winning vehicles, and prizes will be given away throughout the show. The first 100 entries will receive a commemorative dash plate and a chance to win a door prize. Trophies will be awarded in the stock and custom car, truck and motorcycle categories. All proceeds earned from the show will be donated to the Kansas Make A Wish Foundation. The Make A Wish Foundation provides wishes to terminally ill children ages 21/2 to 18.
