In the 1960s, legendary racer Carroll Shelby contributed to many noteworthy classics such as this 1969 Shelby GT350 Mustang that was built as part of a joint venture with Ford Motor Company.  Ford shipped Mustangs to Shelby for performance and appearance related modifications.  These Shelby Mustangs were then sold through authorized Ford dealers nationwide.

1969 Shelby Mustangs came standard with fiberglass fenders, hood, deck lid & rear fascia.  There is a full-width custom front grille and the rear is accented by sequential tail lamps.  Nine scoops are positioned around the car.  The rollbar and reel-type racing harnesses were standard equipment.
