Legal disclaimer:

Despite the look, this is not a Pony package as there were no Pony packages in 2005.  However, this Mustang has the optional handling package that is included in the 2006 Pony package (All speed traction control and 4 channel ABS). So, with its interior upgrade package and handling package, this car is now a Pony Package even though none exited in 2005!

I always loved the look of the old Mustangs that I could remember from my youth. Unfortunately, Canadian winters with the extensive use of salts on the road plays havoc on cars and ends up eating through them.  Therefore, you rarely see cars older than 20 years old.  The only survivors are those lucky cars that get stored for winter and implement weather. As a result, you hardly ever see them.  Of course, such classic cars are prohibitively expensive and I could never afford to get one for myself.

Then in winter 2005, I came across an amazingly good-looking car in a shopping centre parking lot. Not knowing what it was, I turned around and discovered that it was the newly redesigned Mustang. Ford had answered my prayers and brought back that amazing looking car with today’s technology at an affordable price. Around the same time, I learned that the Canadian military would transfer me to Oklahoma City for a period of 4 years. Therefore, after much begging, pleading and imploring, I managed to obtain permission from my wife to buy the car.  I told her that only a Mustang could take her rapidly all over the USA for sightseeing.  For us, this is an incredible chance of visiting a new country at our own pace. So far, we are averaging around 30 000 miles a year. We are truly enjoying the car on all these drives and would like to share with you a few pictures of our amazing adventures.

P.S. Advice to future buyers:

All that begging was unnecessary. Sherry liked the Mustang from the first day that she saw it. She enjoys it a lot and is quite proud of it.
