Keith Williams 1991 Mustang GT |
| I traded for my 1991 Mustang G.T.
about a month after I retired in January, 2007. I
got a knock on the dolor one evening and was asked if I
would be interested in the 1991 G.T. and we worked out a
deal within a few days and did the trade. I had to
do some appearance things to it after I bought it,
including a headliner, carpet and some upholstering
repair on the driver seat back on the outside
panel. I still needed to do new paint, but that
finally came last year, in 2010. I found out after I had owned the car for about two years somebody in the history of the car had incorporated parts off a 1993 Cobra which was probably wrecked onto the 1991 G.T. I have. It has the engine which has been built up along with a Tremec 5 speed transmission and a racing clutch. Frame connectors have also been added. It also has the 1993 Cobra brake system on it, alont with the rear end and the Cobra suspension, front and rear. Many other race features have been added to the suspension. I added a Cervini front bumper and new Fog Lights after I bought the car due to damage to the front bumper assembly. The 1991 G.T. has become one of my favorite cars, but all of my Mustang's are my favorites. I have it fixed up much the way it will stay, although I might add some chrome under the hood in years to come. Keith Williams |
