Robert & Stacy Morey's 05 Pony Convertible

“I want a motorcycle,” my husband announces to me one night at dinner. Clearly, this was another bump in the road on his way to the big 4-0.  Seeing as how we couldn’t commute from Norman to our jobs in Oklahoma City on a Harley (okay maybe we could, but a girl can only do her hair so many times in a day), I suggested an alternative – a Mustang.  Rob warmed up to the idea, after he made it abundantly clear that a convertible was the only option as far as he was concerned.

When we went to the dealership to buy the car, Rob did his best to let the dealer know that he was not about to be taken to the cleaners.  After all the haggling was done, there we sat with the difference of $150.00 between us.  I was caught in the middle with my cheap, uh I mean adorable, husband on one side who was unwilling to budge one more cent, and the salesman who I’m sure kept thinking he was on candid camera.  After about five minutes of dead silence, I finally turned to the love of my life and said, “Can I just give you the $150.00?”  That did the trick and, the next thing I know, we’re driving off the lot in the most beautiful car I have ever seen.
