| I have owned my first car, a
'64 1/2 Mustang coupe, since October 23rd 1983. I
am the 3rd owner. It was driven daily until June
of 1997 when I decided it was time for some TLC.
I pulled out the original 260 ci. V8 and had it
rebuilt. Extensive rust in both Qtr. panels and
floor were replaced, as well as some areas in the
lower fenders and doors. I also had to replace
the original cracked windshield. When it came
time to paint I decided to change the exterior
from the original Wimbledon White to "Sooner
Red." I stayed with the original bright red
when re-assembling the interior. There's no price
on the sentimental value. I drove it all through
high school. It's been on numerous dates, 2
proms, and a honeymoon. It's now only driven
occassionally on sunny days. |
