Mustang was finished in 2010 after a three year total
rotisserie restoration. It is an all numbers matching
car. 289ci built with Edelbrock, Crower, MSD, Hedman
Headers into 2.5" SS exhaust through FlowMasters. It
has the original 3 speed trans linked to Ford 8.8 rear
posi with 330 Dana gears. According to the Marti Report,
It rolled off the assembly line in SanJose on May 17,
1968. The GT hood, grill with fog lights, and dual
exhaust rear valance were included from the factory as
part of an optional PONY PACKAGE. This Mustang is #
101 of 1211 Mustangs ordered with that option. Originally
it was Meadowlark yellow with Parchment White interior.
It is now Presidential Blue with Firemist metallic and
total black interior. I am the third owner of this 42
year old classic. |
