The '66 was originally purchased by a woman who lived in Oklahoma (Blackwell and then Sand Springs). I bought it from her on 3/7/80. It has a 289, 3-speed standard with Pony Interior and factory air . I sold the car in the summer of 1981 and spent the next 21 years regretting it. I tracked it down again through the friend I sold it to and the Arkansas Dept. of Transportation and was able to repurchase the exact same car on 8/9/02. I have replaced the carpet, installed a custom audio system with 4 speakers, a new dash pad and package tray and have generally cleaned up the insides. It still looks fairly nice but will be sweet with a new paint job. The 289 runs strong and needs only minor tinkering (or better yet, perhaps some "steroids" to create a better, faster, hp cranking fuel guzzlin' fun ride).
