This is our 1968 Ford Mustang 2 Door Coupe.
This Mustang was ordered by my father Mr. Herschel D. King for my mother Ila A. King for their wedding anniversary on November 25, 1967.
Due to a strike in Dearborn, Michigan, the vehicle did not arrive until December 12, 1967.
My mother did not mind the delay in her wedding anniversary present from my father.
This Golden Beauty has a 289 V-8 with a automatic transmission.
My father also had ordered the in-dash air conditioning system.
Exterior color is Sunlit Gold with Parchment interior.
The automatic transmission has a console that goes down the center of the vehicle.
The seats are the deluxe seats with the comfort weave upholstery.

After my father passed away on April 22, 1988, my mother was going to sell the car. I told her that I wanted to take the car to restore it. She said that I could come and get it. We both have been working on the vehicle since 1988.
